My husband and I stopped by here on our way down to Baton Rouge, and it was great! The food was amazing and the service was extremely friendly! My husband ordered the catfish and I had a burger, both were great. My husband said the fish was extremely good! We also ordered a slice of the Oreo cheesecake and it was very good! Not too rich, and not too cheese-y. The servers were super welcoming and very friendly! If you ever find yourself in this area or driving south on I-55, I definitely recommend a stop by here for some lunch!

My softball team and I were heading home from the gulf coast after a long week of traveling and games, and decided to stop at the Barn Yard Grill. I ordered a bacon cheese burger, french fries and cowboy corn nuggets. The food was so amazing and the service was wonderful. One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Our server and the owner tagged teamed our table of 20 girls, and 3 coaches. They kept everyone drinks full, and were the nicest people I ever met. 10/10 experience. Our food came out really fast for the amount of people we had. The best homemade cheesecake too! Overall, If you ever get the chance to stop at this cute small burger joint, I highly recommend you stop and meet these lovely people. Sincerely, Moberly Area Community College Softball Go Greyhounds!

If you pass this place up, you're cheating yourself of the most amazing meal and the nicest people you'll ever meet! Do not let this little unassuming spot deceive you. It's freaking phenomenal. Doug and Cathy are so sweet to their customers and hilarious with each other. Very cozy little spot. I felt like I was back in grandma's house. The BBQ pork sandwich was so good! Perfect mix of sweet and tangy sauce, and the pork was SO tender. The cheeseburger was thick and juicy, and the bacon was the perfect kind of crispy. I don't usually care for pickles, but I had an opportunity to try the fried ones here, and I ate half the basket. I do love fried okra and I have changed my mind, THESE are the best ones I've ever had. Crispy but lightly so. You can definitely tell they regularly change their fry oil. And the Cajun cheese fries, absolutely devine. Perfect stop on a road trip, not too heavy, but fills you up.

WOW! What an amazing place!! The food is excellent! The burgers are the best you will find. Hand patties, 100% beef, and marinated, so good. The service is excellent too. If you’re in the area you need to stop by. Top your meal off with homemade pie of cheese cake!

Definitely a must stop place to eat. The owner is so kind and talks with all his customers. Very good service and hospitality. All homemade food that is absolutely delicious. Only wish I would have ordered a slice of homemade pie to go.

Best darn cheeseburger I have had in a very long time. All of the food was marvelous. Service was superior. This place is worth the drive. This photo is just about a quarter of the slice of Oreo cheesecake that the kids got and it was delicious.

An absolute MUST. I just traveled the Midwest for a week and Barnyard Grill is by far my favorite stop. The food is great. Home cooked with love and lots of pride. Everything is priced so low; they could charge double and it would be worth it. The owners were super cool and very down to earth people who are proud of their food. 5 stars all around.
